AlphaZeta Interactive Redesigns Restaurant.Com Partner Site to Focus on 3 Key Audience Segments and Drives A 33.5% Increase in Engagement

Chicago, IL (PRWEB) July 31, 2011

When Restaurant.com decided to redesign their partner site, they zeroed in on solving the main challenge with their existing site. The existing site was not attracting and converting as many partners as they wanted. Even more – they needed a tool to engage their prospective partners and communicate the benefits of the partnership, instill trust and inspire the audience to take action.

AlphaZeta Interactive’s approach stood out from the rest. Beginning with their Immersion Technique , they took a deep dive into the brand, understanding who was visiting the site, defining who they wanted to visit the site, and focused on the key differentiation points the brand could provide. From there, AlphaZeta Interactive held a Persona workshop resulting in an approach that segmented the audience in a way that addressed their individual motivations as well as the collective expectations. This data and added insight ultimately narrated into the Experience Strategy, guided the re-design process, and drove the overall plan for the new site.

As a result of the Experience Strategy, AlphaZeta Interactive developed an approach for the site that was built around trust, empowerment and activation of the three key audience segments. AlphaZeta Interactive determined the new site needed to offer the audience simple solutions, honest communication, partnership, and best practices.

To answer this need, AlphaZeta Interactive created three different engagement paths with content that both matched key issues as well as common questions. This focused content was served in an automated way to create engagement while at the same time supporting both the emotional and logical decision making needs of potential partners.

The results spoke for themselves, within the first two weeks after launch the partner site’s page views – per visit – increased by 33.5% with a sustained 14% increase over the next two months. These metrics tell us that the audience is highly engaged on the site – looking around to gather more information and now more than ever, positioning the site well to convert at the highest rates the program has seen yet.

“We could not have been happier with the work that AlphaZeta did for us! From idea generation to conceptual development to actual execution, the team was responsive, adaptable, and a pleasure to work with. They took our tired and outdated lead-generation website and turned it into something that we can actually promote to new prospects!” – Ken Devlin, Director of Restaurant Marketing

Turner Classic Movies to Kick Off Its New Interactive Movie Database, TCMdb, with the Ultimate Movie Lover’s Sweepstakes

Atlanta, Georgia (PRWEB) March 7, 2006

To celebrate the launch of TCMdb, its new media-rich, interactive movie database, Turner Classic Movies (TCM) and Warner Home Video will award one grand-prize winner with the Warner Classics Mega Collection of almost 200 DVDs and 25 first-prize winners with the John Wayne Signature Collection of DVDs in the Ultimate Movie Lover’s Sweepstakes, it was announced today. The Mega Collection includes such renowned films as Casablanca, Singin’ in the Rain, and North by Northwest in addition to rare gems such as Narrow Margin, Freaks and My Favorite Wife. The John Wayne Signature Collection features four films, including Stagecoach and The Searchers.

Fans can enter the Ultimate Movie Lover’s Sweepstakes from March 1-31 by either filling out and submitting an online entry form at TCM’s Web site, turnerclassicmovies.com; or by mailing a postcard with their name, address, phone number and birthdate to Ultimate Movie Lover’s Sweepstakes Entry, 1050 Techwood Dr. NW, Atlanta, Ga. 30318.

TCMdb, which launched in a Beta version this month, is one of the largest multimedia depositories of online movie information available anywhere in the world. TCMdb features content related to more than 130,000 titles, listing more than 1.25 million people; 100,000 pieces of biographical data; 15,000 written biographies; and more than 10 million distinct pieces of movie information, spanning the full continuum of movie history from the 1890s to films currently in production. It contains complete film synopses, film credits, box office reports and other classic movie information unavailable anywhere else from a single source online, and the most in-depth information available for free with especially rich archival information available on classic movies.

TCMdb broadband media available on classic movies includes hundreds of movie trailers, production notes, movie clips and content from TCM’s own extensive original programming. More than 15,000 still images from film productions, promotional and marketing material, movie scripts, production correspondence and press books that detail the publicity plans for movies will be uploaded to the movie database by TCM researchers in the coming year, as part of the TCM Archives.

TCMdb includes comprehensive library content licensed from the American Film Institute (afi.com)’s AFI Catalog of Feature Films, an ongoing research project, which is celebrated for the accuracy and depth of its data, with additional content purchased from Internet Movie Database, Inc. and other sources. These arrangements allow TCM to include film content from all of the major movie studios. TCMdb will be hosted by the network via its Web site, turnerclassicmovies.com, or will be directly accessible via tcmdb.com.

Through an online submission tool, collectors, movie fans and serious film scholars alike will be able to submit information and images of movie memorabilia and film productions from their own collections, as well as offer factual clarifications on movie history. TCM Web editors will even notify users by personalized e-mail, and all successful contributors will get by-lined personal credit and name citations in the movie database.

There will also be in-depth articles written by film historians, editors, scholars, movie buffs and others. These articles will put the classic movie entries into the context of their times, offering background on the pop cultural influences on the films and behind-the-scenes production details of the classic movies.

If there are movies that are missing from a movie lover’s personal home DVD or VHS collection, the TCM movie database will be able to help fans with that, as well. Fans can either vote on titles to be released on home video or tap into one of the most comprehensive selections of classic movies available on DVD or VHS through TCM’s relationship Movies Unlimited.

For official rules for the Ultimate Movie Lover’s Sweepstakes Entry, send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to Ultimate Movie Lover’s Sweepstakes, 1050 Techwood Dr. NW, Atlanta, Ga. 30318, or log on to turnerclassicmovies.com.
